Heintz Article

Denise,

Since you just posted the bio on Frederick Heintz, attached is a fascinating article that I thought I’d share. Frederick was a brother of my g-g-grandfather Lorenz Heintz. At first we thought that this Henry Miller in the article may have been connected to the Hall family since the article mentions going to the residence of Ed Hall, but further research showed that on the ship called Marengo 29 July 1839 in New Orleans, LA were George Heintz (Frederick’s full name was Johann Georg Frederick Heintz) age 24, Hch Meiller, age 26, George Pfeiffer, age 24, and the Croissant family. So this Henry Miller came from Germany with them on the Marengo.
