Minnie Hogeboom McWhorter

Submitted by Les Niemi. This is a photograph of Minnie nee HOGEBOOM McWHORTER and her daughter Dorritt (see Dorritt's Hat Shoppe photo). Minnie was the daughter of my gg grandparents John N. and Anna W. HOGEBOOM. Minnie married Frank McWHORTER in Rock Island. This photograph was taken shortly before Minnie took her life (in Rock Island) due to troubles with her marriage. Minnie was the proprietor of the Wagner House Saloon in Rock Island at the time. Her remains were brought to Tampico for internment.
