DIED


GLASSBURN - At the residence of her son, Albert Glassburn, in Hahnaman, Ill., on Saturday, Feb. 28th, 1891, Mrs. Jane Glassburn, aged 80 years and two months.


Jane Fee was born Dec. 30, 1810, in Gallia County, Ohio, and resided there until about the age of sixteen years, when she moved with her parents to Vinton County. She was married in 1828 to John Glassburn, of Gallia County, Ohio. After marriage they settled on a farm in the latter county where they resided until the year 1867, when they removed  *******e spent the remainder of her days. Her husband died in December, 1870. She joined on  probation, a Methodist Episcopal Class that met in a school house in Ohio in 1841. this class was afterwords disbanded and she was not received into full membership until she was baptized and united with the Tamiko Methodist Episcopal church in 1878 during the pastorate of Rev. Pomeroy. Six children were born to John and Jane Glassburn - four sons and two daughters, all of whom are living, except one son. Three sons were present at the last sad rites performed for their mother. One daughter resides in Dakota and another in Ohio.
