ERIC  WETZELL

 

Tampico: - Eric Wetzell, 13, of 305 W. Third Street, Tampico, was dead on arrival, April 14, 1992 at CGH Medical Center, Sterling.

 

Funeral services at Tampico United Methodist Church with the Rev. Robert May, pastor, officiating.  Burial will be at Tampico Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the Garland Funeral Home.

 

A memorial has been established.

 

Eric was born Aug. 4, 1978, in Sterling, the son of Randy and Anna (Chriest) Wetzell. He was a seventh grade student at Tampico Junior High where he was a member of the basketball team and track team.  He was active in many sports. He was a member of Tampico United Methodist Church and was a member of the United Methodist Youth Fellowship of the church.

 

He is survived by his parents of Tampico; one sister, Gina Ann, at home; maternal grandparents, Charles and Eula Chriest of Tampico, and paternal grandparents, Arthur and Marge Wetzell of Tampico; paternal great-grandparents, Paul and Monafae Wetzell of Tampico, and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
