Services Held For Harry A. Whitver
 
Funeral services were held Saturday ar 2 p.m. at the Ross Funeral Home for Harry Armour Whitver, 78,  who died Wednesday after an extended illness.  The Rev. Anderson officiated and burial was in the Walnut Cemetery. 
 
He was born April 19, 1897 in Walnut, the son of Harry and Carrie Caton Whitver.  He married Esther Hunter on Sept. 19, 1941 in Missouri.
 
He is survived by his wife, one daughter, Mrs. Gale Broers, one step daughter, Mrs. Marjorie Eberhardt;  three grandchildren, and nine step-grandchildren;  three great grandchildren and seven great step-grandchildren;  three sisters, Mrs. Vera Kaiser, of Lacon,  Mrs. Iva Atherton of Walnut and Mrs. Gertrude Bactell, of Concord, N.H.;  one brother, Clifton Whitver of Bloomington.
 
He was preceded in death by his parents, one granddaughter and one step daughter.
 
Pallbearers were:  Richard Whitver,  Raymond Gustafson,  Carl Gustrafson, Roy A. Atherton, George Hanson and Charles Broers.
