ETHEL  (LaDue) MILLER  LOVE

 

Mrs. Ethel Love Dies While Visiting Son

 

Tampico: - Ethel Love, 83, passed away Friday evening in a hospital in Techumseh, Mich., where she had been visiting her son, John B. Miller.

 

Services will be held Tuesday, Nov. 11, at 1:30 p.m. at Tampico, with the Rev. Raymond Good, of the United Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be in the Riverside Cemetery, Prophetstown.

 

Ethel LaDue was born Sept. 26, 1886, in Tampico, the daughter of Dr. Burdett E. and Emma Simmons LaDue.  She attended Union High School and the Lewis Institute in Chicago.

 

She married John Miller May 24, 1917.  She married Arlie Love Jan. 6, 1945.

 

Mrs. Love was a member of the Tampico United Methodist Church and the WSCS.

 

She is survived by one son, John B. Miller, Clinton, Mich.; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one stepson, John Love, Imperial, Calif.

 

She was preceded by her parents, husbands, and one sister, Jennie LaDue Campbell, in 1964.

 

Visitation will be after 2 p.m. Monday at the Schmitt Funeral Chapel, Tampico.
