BROUGHT HERE FOR BURIAL


Funeral services for Mrs. Pansy Leahy of Sterling were held this Wednesday morning at the Grennan & Son Funeral home in Sterling, followed by burial in St. Mary's cemetery, Tampico. Mrs. Leahy passed away Monday in the Home Hospital after a short illness.


Mrs. Leahy was born July 15, 1896 in Greenville township, Bureau county, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Meek. She had been employed at the Charles Larson Co.


She is survived by one sister, Mrs. Mabel Broers of Walnut and several nieces and nephews.


Her husband, Philip Leahy; her parents; two brotehrs, Earl and Richard Meek; and one sister, Mrs. Charles Broers, preceded her in death.
