Mrs. Lizzie Ackeberg Dies In Nursing Home
Prophetstown: - Mrs. Lizzie Ackeberg, 88, passed away Sunday afternoon in the Whiteside County Nursing Home.
Funeral services will be held at the First Lutheran Church, Prophetstown, Wednesday, 1:30 p.m. , the Rev. L. S. Anderson, officiating, with burial in Riverside Cemetery.
Elnora Elizabeth Ackeberg was born Feb. 17, 1879 in Fairfield Township, the daughter of Nels and Mary (Peterson) Gibson. She was educated in the Center Schools. She married Frank Ackeberg of Prophetstown in Chicago, Feb. 17, 1908. She lived in the Prophetstown area all her life and was a member of the First Luthern Church.
She is survived by three brothers, Anton Gibson of Prophetstown; Glenn Gibson of Tremont; Arthur Gibson of Lyndon; two sisters, Mrs. Josie Ackeberg and Mrs. Amanda Pierson, both of Prophetstown.
She was preceded by her parents, husband, two brothers and twos sisters.
