Emma J. McKenzie Dies In Hospital
 
Prophetstown: - Emma J. McKenzie, 77, passed away Monday evening at Henry Hammond Hospital, Geneseo, where she had been a patient for the past three weeks.
 
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Gardner Funeral Chapel, Prophetstown, the Rev. A. Dean Lundstrom of the First Congregational Church will officiate, with burial in the Lyndon cemetery.
 
Friends may call at the funeral chapel Wednesday afternoon and evening.
 
Emma J. McKenzie was born Feb. 13, 1889 and lived in the Geneseo and Prophetstown vicinity during her lifetime. She married Harold McKenzie of Prophetstown, June 12, 1909 in Dixon, and he preceded her in 1959.  She was a member of the First Congregational Church.
 
She is survived by one brother, J. H. Milligan of Gary, Ind.; one sister, Mrs. Bryant Kelsey of Rock Falls; several nieces and nephews.
