MARGUERITE  ALICE  (Morris)  HOWLETT

 

Marguerite Howlett Rites Wednesday

 

Prophetstown: - Mrs. Marguerite Alice Howlett, 68, died Monday morning at Pleasant View Nursing Home in Morrison.

 

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Gardner Chapel. Friends may call at the Chapel from 7-9 p.m Tuesday.  A memorial fund has been established.

 

Marguerite Howlett was born Aug. 16, 1906 in Coe Township, the daughter of John and Maude Brown Morris.  She married Leonard Howlett of Tampico in Princeton on Dec. 14, 1925. They have lived in Prophetstown and the surrounding area.

 

She is survived by her husband; two daughters, Mrs. Phil (Justine) Swanson and Mrs. Ray (Alverda) Mosher, both of Prophetstown; one son, Burnell of Prophetstown; eight grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.

 

She was preceded by one son John in infancy, one brother and one step-brother.
