FREDDA  MARIE  ROSENE

 

Fredda Rosene Rites Saturday

 

Tampico:  - Miss Fredda Marie Rosene, 90, Lyndon, died late Wednesday evening at Morrison Community Hospital.

 

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at the Church of Christ in Tampico with the Rev. Clarke Devore officiating. Burial will be in Tampico Memorial Cemetery.  Friends may call at Schmitt Chapel in Tampico from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday.  Memorials may be made to the Tampico Church of Christ.

 

Fredda Rosene was born in Sweden on Oct. 5, 1883, the daughter of Nels O. and Cecelia Nelson Rosene. She moved to the United States at the age of two and located at Princeton.  She also lived in Walnut and Tampico before moving to Lyndon in 1955 to live with her sister.  She was a practical nurse for many years and was a charter member of the Tampico Church of Christ.

 

Surviving are one sister, Mrs. Tillie Newman of Lyndon and one brother, Clarence O. Rosene of Kasbeer, Ill.  She was preceded by her parents and five brothers, Harry, Edward, Roy, Grove, and one in infancy.
