HAROLD  WAINWRIGHT  LATHROP

 

Harold Lathrop Dies Friday

 

Walnut: - Harold Wainwright Lathrop, 75, 310 E. Liberty St., Walnut, retired farmer, died Friday at Perry Memorial Hospital in Princeton.

 

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Howard Johnson Funeral Home in Manlius with the Rev. Eugene W. Spradling officiating.  Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery in Princeton.  Visitation will be at the Howard Johnson Funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday.  A memorial has been established for the Christian Church of Walnut.

 

Harold Lathrop was born Oct. 26, 1898 in Fairfield Township, the son of Clarance and Henrietta Monson Lathrop.  He married Mildred Anderson on Sept. 16, 1924 at Princeton.

 

Survivors include his widow; two sons, Neil of Freeport and Roy of Streator; four grandchildren; and three sisters, Mrs. Earl (Myrta) Tompkins of Sedona, Ariz., Mrs. James (Claretta) Kelsey of Phoenix, Ariz., and Mrs. Paul (Olive) Johnson of Waterman.

 

He was preceded by his parents, two brothers, one sister and one infant son.
