Mrs. Wallis Rites Thursday

 

Walnut: - Funeral services for Mrs. Monnace (Margaret) Wallis, 69, of Walnut, will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. in the Ross Funeral home with the Dr. Eugene Spradling officiating. Burial will be in the Walnut Cemetery.  Visitation will be tonight at the Ross Runeral Home from 7-9 p.m.

 

She was born Oct. 19, 1907 in Walnut, the daughter of John and Daisy (Kimmil) Wolfe. She married Monnace Wallis Sept. 6, 1929 in Walnut.

 

Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Merle (Blanche) Dale of Manlius; one son, John B. Wallis of Prophestown; five grandchildren; four sisters, Mrs. Mildred Eldon of Rockford, Mrs. Irene Sidebottom and Mrs. Norma Hobbs both of Walnut, Mrs. Avis Bousam of Princeton; four brothers, John A. of Dixon, Leland of New Milford, Ivan of Walnut and Robert of Princeton.
