HENRY  ANDERSON
 
Henry Anderson, 82, Passes Away Sunday
 
Prophetstown: - Henry Anderson, 82, died at 7:30 p.m. Sunday at his home on Benton Street.  He was unmarried and his niece and her husband, Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Lawrence, had lived with him for several years.
 
The body was removed to Gardner Mortuary. Funeral rites will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Gardner Chapel. The Rev. C. F. Chasteen, pastor of the Methodist Church, will officiate.  Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery.
 
He was born July 31, 1870, in Sweden, the son of Anders and Johanna Danielson Jacobson.  He was educated in Swedish schools and while in Sweden, baptized in the Baptist faith. At the age of 21 he came to the United States, where he lived and farmed in the Tampico, Leon and Prophetstown communities.  Mr. Anderson had been a Prophetstown resident for the past 40 years. 
 
Surviving him are 14 nieces and nephews in this country.  He was preceded in death by 16 brothers and sisters.
