Albert N. Roberts Dies In Hospital
 
Prophetstown: - Albert Nelson Roberts, 82, of Prophetstown, passed away Friday evening at the Morrison Community General Hospital. 
 
Funeral services will be held Monday at 2 p.m. in the Gardner Funeral Home, the Rev. Paul Olson of the First Methodist Church officiating, with burial in
Riverside Cemetery.
 
Friends may call Sunday evening from 7 to 9 at the funeral home. A memorial has been established to the First Methodist Church.
 
Albert Roberts was born July 10, 1884 in Prophetstown, the son of Nelson and Anna Kurfiss Roberts.  He was educated in the Venton Street School.  He married Agnes McNutt in November 1906 and she passed away in May 1947.  He then married Mrs. Razella Beeken. He was a member of the First Methodist Church.
 
He is survived by his wife, one stepson, Charles Harold Beeken of Albany; two nieces, Mrs. Anna Adams of Sterling; Mrs. Darlene Brand of Whittier, Calif.; three granddaughters and two great grandchildren.
 
He was preceded by his parents and three half sisters.
