Elizabeth Majeski Passes Away Monday
 
Prophetstown: - Elizabeth Majeski, 83, passed away Monday evening at the Colonial Acres Nursing Home, where she had been a resident for the past eleven months.
 
She was born March 17, 1882, in Cresswell, Pa., the daughter of Christian and Mary Hess Kline.  She attended school in Lancaster County Pennsylvania. She married Arthur Majeski, June 19, 1900, in Sterling, and they moved to Prophetstown in 1917. She was a member of the First Lutheran Church, Prophetstown.
 
She is survived by five sons, Paul, Flint, Mich.; Harry, Lyndon; Charles, Arthur and Donald all of Prophetstown; two daughters, Mrs. James (Mary) Manspeaker, Sterling; Mrs. Clyde (Helen) Olsson, of Prophetstown; 10 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
 
She was preceded by her husband, one son Frank and five brothers, four sisters and one granddaughter. Funeral services will be held Thursday, 1:30 p.m. at the First Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Lawrence Anderson officiting.
 
Burial will be in Riverside.  Friends may call Wednesday afternoon and evening at the Gardner Funeral Chapel.
