Howard Earl Jaquet Dies On Wednesday
 
Prophetstown - Howard Earl Jaquet, 72, passed away Wednesday at his home at 330 West Third St., Prophetstown.
 
Funeral services will be held at the Gardner Funeral Chapel, Prophetstown, Saturday at 2 p.m. , the Rev. Paul Olson of First Methodist Church officiating, with burial in Riverside Cemetery, Prophetstown.  Friends may call Friday afternoon and evening at the funeral chapel.
 
Howard Jaquet was born May 17, 1894 in Lorraine Township, the son of John and Caroline Papendick Jaquet. He was educated in Lorraine Township schools. He moved from a farm in Lorraine Township to Prophetstown and was in last residence for 16 years.  He was a member of the American Legion Post 522 for 46 years and was a World War I Veteran.
 
He is survived by two brothers, John and Ralph of Prophetstown and a sisteer, Miss Inez Jaquet of Prophetstown.
 
He was preceded by his parents, two brothers in infancy and four sisters.
