George Hansen, 84, Dies At His Home
 
Tampico: - George Hansen, 84, of Tampico, passed away this morning (Saturday) at his home south of Tampico. 
 
Funeral services will be held Monday at 2 p.m. in the First United Methodist Church, the Rev. Edgard Perez officiating with burial in Fairfield-Greenville Cemetery.
 
Friends may call at the Schmitt Funeeral Chapel after 2 p.m. Sunday.  Memorials may be directed to the First United Methodist Church.
 
George Hansen was born June 23, 1903 in Sheffield, the son of George and Hannah Hansen. He was educated in the Sheffield and Swanson schools. He married Sarah Renner on Aug. 23, 1928 in Lacon. He lived in Tampico all his life and was a member of the Fairfield Lutheran Church.
 
He is survived by his widow, two daughters, Mrs. John (Helen) Bowman of Sterling; Mrs. Laverne (Mary Ann) Mickley of Prophetstown; one son George M. Hansen of Walnut; four grandsons, five brothers, Wilbur, Lester, Leonard and Charles, all of Sheffield and William of Oregon; two sisters, Miss Anna Hansen and Mrs. Berle (Irene) Jacobsen, both of Sheffield.
 
He was preceded by his parents, three brothers, James, George and Fred; one sister, Hannah.
