Dora Christiana Seyller Of Yorktown Succumbs At Farm Home Saturday

Mrs. Dora Christiana Seyller, 73, a native of the Yorktown vicinity and resident there all of her life, passed away at the farmstead southwest of Yorktown at 11 a.m. Saturday. She was stricken with a heart attack the day before.

The body was removed to the home Sunday from the Parent Funeral Home. The rosary will be recited at the home Monday night at 8 p.m. and the Altar and Rosary Society of St. Mary's Church will attend the requiem mass at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday in a body. The Rev. T. O. Maguire pastor, will sing the mass.  Committal will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.

Mrs. Seyller was born at Yorktown, Feb. 7, 1873 the daughter of Xarier and Louise Grose Clementz. She was married to August Seyller Feb. 5, 1895 at Davenport, Ia.  Mr. Seyller passed away Dec. 5, 1944. She was a member of St. Mary's Church.

Surviving are a son, Fred, Yorktown; three sisters, Mrs. Martha Castle, Savanna, Mrs. Catherine Moloney, Tampico, Mrs. Josi Mathis, Hooppole; two brothers, Frank Clementz, Sacramento, Calif., and Fred Clementz, Davenport, and several nieces and nephews.

Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Clarence, in infancy; two sisters, Mrs. Bertha Bollenbech and Mrs. Anna Bollenbach; and two brother, William and John Clementz.
