John Yonk Funeral Rites at Yorktown On Sunday Afternoon
 
Funeral rites for John Yonk, 73, of Yorktown will be held at the farm home Sunday at 2:30 p.m. and at 3:00 p.m. at the Yorktown Lutheran Church.  Committal will be in the Manlius Cemetery. The body was taken to the home this afternoon from the Parent Mortuary.
 
Mr. Yonk passed away suddenly Friday from a heart attack at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Harry Teske, of New Bedford.  He had not been in the best of health for six months and had been at his daughter's home two weeks.
 
He was born in Fairfield Township, July 4, 1869.  He and Ida Charlotte Johnson were married May 18, 1892. She passed away in 1928.  Mr. Yonk had lived in the Yorktown vicinity all his life.
 
Surviving are four children, Herman and Leslie Yonk of Yorktown, Mrs. Vernon Vandermoon of near Thomas, and Mrs. Teske of New Bedford. A son, Fred Yonk, passed away about eight year ago.
