Tampico - Rosalie Spears, age 82, of Rock Falls, formerly of Tampico, died Saturday, October 11, 2014. 
Rosalie was born April 3, 1932 in Mount Moriah, Missouri, the daughter of Kelly Webb and Bertha May (Turner) Hickman. She was united in marriage to William R. Spears on October 13, 1949. He preceded her in death on July 14, 2010. Rosalie retired from Borg- Warner in Rock Falls.
She is survived by one son: Bill Spears of Pecatonica, Illinois; one daughter, Alice (Gene) Dalton of Sterling, Illinois.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Judith Spears; one son, Orville Spears and her husband, William.
Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, October 15, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. at the Garland Funeral Home in Tampico, with Rev. Dalmus Meeks pastor of the Harvest Time Bible Church in Rock Falls, officiating. Burial will be in Tampico Memorial Cemetery.
