Mrs. Ida Hewitt, 91, died at 2AM at her home, 1001 1st ave. Rock Falls. Mrs. Hewitt was born in Pennsylvania, but came to Sterling as a child. Thirty years ago she moved to Rock Falls. Her husband, Charles, died 25 years ago, and three daughters also predeceased her. Surviving are a son-in-law, John Murray, with whom she lived and three grandchildren; Mrs. Bert Jurkens, and Mrs. Ruth Johannson, Sterling, and Lester Grove of Montana. A funeral service will be held Sunday 3PM at the Rock Falls Methodist Church burial will be in the Rock Falls cemetery.
