KENT J. RENKES, 53, of Fulton, IL, died Monday, November 23, 2015 at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City, IA.

Kent was born February 8, 1962, in Morrison, IL, to Harvey D. Renkes and Doris K. (Vos) Bull. He was educated in the Morrison and Fulton grade schools and was a graduate of Fulton High School. He married Margaret "Peggy" Kiger on September 23, 1989 in Fulton. Kent was employed in security at the Quad Cities Nuclear Power Generation Station in Cordova, IL. Most recently he worked for Nestle Purina in Clinton, IA. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Fulton, and the Clinton area Rod Car Club. He enjoyed driving his classic cars, fishing and drinking coffee under "the shade tree".

Survivors include his wife, Peggy; two daughters, Lindsey (Drew Nederhoff) Renkes of Fulton, and Regan (Andres Vernazza) Renkes of Fulton; his mother and step father, Doris and Dale Bull of Fulton; one brother, Mark (Jan) Renkes of Fulton; three step sisters, Debbie (Larry) Stables of Joplin, MO, Dawn (Al) Bohms of Waukesha, WI and Deanne (Keith) Fuller of Dow, IL.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents; his father, Harvey.

VISITATION: 4:00 - 7:00 PM Friday - November 27, 2015 at the Fulton Chapel - Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home
