Carol J. Ingle

TAMPICO - Carol J. Ingle, 66 of Tampico, died Sunday, March 13, 2016, at CGH Medical Center in Sterling.

Carol was born May 27, 1949, in Sterling, the daughter of Robert and Idella (Bolt) Meier. She married George Ingle in February 1970. He died July 10, 2008. Carol owned and operated a day-care for more than 30 years in her home in Tampico.

Survivors include one daughter, Denise Ingle of Dixon; one son, Gary Ingle of Tampico; three sisters, Sandra Pierceson of Morrison, Donna (Jim) Moews of Moline, and Connie (Bob) Clayman of Stillman Valley; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and one daughter, Angie Ingle.

There will be no services. Cremation rites have been accorded. Arrangements were completed by McDonald Funeral Homes.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established.
