TAMPICO – Kenneth D. Hall, 79, of rural Tampico, died Tuesday, Nov. 8, 2016, at his home.

He was born Nov 5, 1937, in Vandalia, and served in the Army in Korea. He married Patty Baker on May 24, 1959, in Rock Falls. She died March 15, 2012.

Kenneth worked for 26 years at the former Northwestern Steel and Wire Co. as an assistant roller before retiring. He then worked at the former Rock River County Club and later at Deer Valley Golf Course. Kenneth enjoyed the outdoors, golfing, fishing, hunting, and working in his yard. He enjoyed time with his grandchildren and watching the Chicago Cubs.

Survivors include his daughter, Kim (Christopher) Davis of Sterling; three grandchildren, Emma, Evan, and Brady Davis; his brother, Larry (Rosie) Hall, of Ludington, Michigan; and his sister-in-law, Doris Hall, of Vandalia.

He also was preceded in death by his mother; his daughter, Kristi L. Hall; five brothers, Charles, Donald, Dean, Clarence ”Tad,” and James “Jimmy”; and three sisters, Jennie, Dana, and Cleta.

Visitation will be from 12:30 to 2 p.m. Friday, and the funeral at 2 p.m. Friday at McDonald Funeral Home, 1002 12th Ave., Rock Falls, with the Rev. Dalmus Meeks officiating. Burial will be at Coloma Township Cemetery in Rock Falls.
