EILEEN PIERCESON

TAMPICO - Eileen Pierceson, 99, formerly of 208 S. Lincoln St., Tampico, died Saturday, Dec. 9, 1995, at Prophets Riverview Good Samaritan Center, Prophetstown.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Garland Funeral Home, Tampico, with the Rev. Linda Hood, Pastor of the First United Methodist Church of Tampico, officiating. Burial will be at Tampico Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be from noon to 1 p.m. at the funeral home. 

A memorial has been established for the Whiteside County Cancer Society.

Mrs. Pierceson was born Jan. 18, 1896, near Tampico, the daughter of William and Margaret (Sanders) Scott. She married August Pierceson on March 10, 1915, in Princeton. He died Dec. 27, 1928.

Survivors include two grandsons, Kraig Pierceson of Rockford, and Kent Pierceson of Benbrook, Texas; four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by two sons, three brothers, and one sister.
