DEAN PIERCESON
Dean S. Pierceson, 70, of 208 S. Lincoln St., Tampico, died Monday, Oct. 26, 1992, at CGH Medical Center, Sterling.
 
Services are 2 p.m. Thursday at Garland Funeral Home, Tampico. Burial is in Tampico Memorial Cemetery.
 
Visitation is 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday. A memorial fund has been established in his memory to the whiteside County Cancer Society.
 
Mr. Pierceson was born December 28,19121, in Tampico, the son of August and Eileen Scott Pierceson.
 
He was a graduate of Western Illinois University, in Macomb.
 
He was a grade school teacher at Walnut and Yorktown schools for about six years. He was a car salesman at Pierceson Motor Sales in Tampico and Prophetstown for about 20 years, and was also a car salesman at Myers Does in Sterling for about 10 years. He retired in 1981.
 
He served in the U.S. Air Force.
 
Survivors include his mother, Tampico; nephews, Kraig Pierceson, Rockford, and Kent Pierceson, Benbrook, Texas; and several great nieces and nephews and cousins.
