Gail MStickle, 71 of Rock Falls, formerly of New Bedford, died Monday, February 11, 2019 at Rock River Hospice & Home in Sterling.

Gail was born on January 3, 1948 in Westhope, ND, the daughter of Cecil and Clara (Krogen) Spafford. She married Leland Stickle on August 27, 1967 at Grace United Methodist Church in Maxbass, ND. Gail graduated from Maxbass High School in North Dakota, St. Francis School of Nursing in Breckenridge, MN, Sauk Valley Community College in Dixon, University of IL at Chicago and Western Illinois University. She had obtained her Master's Degree and was a Registered Nurse, retiring from KSB Hospital in Dixon and Perry Memorial Hospital in Princeton.

Survivors include her husband, Leland; one son, Steven (Craig Mekow) Stickle of Davenport, IA; one daughter, Suzan Stickle of Rock Falls; two sisters, Sharon Jensen of Upham, ND and Kay (Darnell) Blackwell of Seaford, VA; two sisters-in-law, Thelma Spafford of Dillworth, MN and Rita Peltier of Bartlett, TN; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers and one sister.

Memorials may be made to Rock River Hospice and Home.
