Anita J. Wildman

STERLING- Anita J. Wildman, 100, of Sterling died Sunday May 26, 2019.  Anita was born September 13, 1918 in Dana IL at home, the daughter of A.Wilbur and Emma (Elliott) Bane.  She married Charles Dana Wildman on September 2, 1939 in Prophetstown. He preceded her in death on September 27, 1987.  Anita was an active member of First United Methodist Church in Sterling.

  Survivors include sons Wilbur (Jan) Wildman of Rock Falls, and Alan (Marilyn) Wildman of Tampico; several step grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; special friends Reginald (Leticia) Gomez.

  She was also preceded in death by her parents; a brother Lloyd Bane; two brother-in-laws Wayne (Thora Wildman) Seeley, and Herbert Ray Wildman; two sister-in-laws Mary Ruth Bane, and Florence Wildman.

  Funeral service will be 11 AM Thursday May 30, 2019 at Schilling Funeral Home, Sterling. Visitation will be from 10AM-11AM one hour prior to services. Burial will take place in Riverside Cemetery, Prophetstown.

  Her family would like to thank Regency Care of Sterling, and Gaffey Home Nursing for their care, especially Judy, Carol, and Daun.
