MADGE HUNT

Mrs. Clarence (Madge) HUNT, 70, passed away Tues., Sept 8, at Moline Lutheral Hospital following a lengthy illness. Funeral services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at the Lyndon Congregational Church with Rev. Daniel BOXWELL officiating. Burial will be in Lyndon Cemetery.

Friends may call at the Gardner Chapel on Thursday evening from 6 to 9 p.m. A memorial has been eestablished fr the Lyndon Congregational Church and American Cancer Society.

Madge HUNT was born May 28, 1911 to Theodore and Myrtle (SELL) BLAGG. She married Clarence HUNT in Clinton, Iowa on Dec. 25, 1938, She was a member of the Lyndon Congregational Church and taught school in the Lyndon and Prophetstown area for 40 years, retiring in 1975. She was also a 4-H leader for 30 years.

Mrs. HUNT is survived by her husband; one aughter, Mrs. Haarold (Mary Ellen) ROGERS, Lyndon; one brother, Russell BLAGG, St. Petersburg, Fla.; two sisters, Mrs. Tjelma HARRISON of Sheffield and Mrs. Theodore KARNITZ of Loves Park; and three grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother.
