Ronald Mulnix

MINERAL - Ronald E. Mulnix, 64, of Mineral, formerly of Tampico, died Thursday, Oct. 12, 2006, at Perry Memorial Hospital, Princeton. He worked in road construction.

Ronald was born June 16, 1942, in Sterling, the son of Virgil and Grace (Paschal) Mulnix. He was a member of Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 2783, Rock Falls, American Legion Post 1191, Hooppole, and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post, Kewanee.

Survivors include a daughter, Kris (Greg) Harrell of Tampico; a son, Kevin Mulnix of Prophetstown; his mother of Prophetstown; two sisters, Evelyn (Ronald) Russell and Joyce Peterson, both of Morrison; two brothers, Richard (Carole) Mulnix of Rock Falls and Donald Mulnix of Morrison; special friend, Connie Mulnix of Prophetstown; and three grandchildren, Scott and Josh Harrell of Tampico and Alaina Mulnix of Walnut.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Graveside service is at 1 p.m. Monday at Oak Knoll Memorial Park, Sterling, with Dalmus Meeks of Harvest Time Bible Church, Rock Falls, officiating. There is no visitation. Arrangements were completed by Schilling Funeral Home, Sterling.
