Alice B. Kropf, daughter of Levi and Amanda (Yoder) Kropf was born June 25, 1914 in Shelby County, Illinois. She peacefully passed away December 31, 2006 at her home at the age of 92 years, 6 months, and 6 days. She was united in marriage to Joseph S. Kropf on June 20, 1935, sharing the joys and sorrows of married life for 55 years and 23 days.

Surviving are ten children; Willis (wife Judy) of Berryville, Arkansas, Willard (wife Mary Alice) of Green Forest, Arkansas, Norma of Tampico, Illinois, Doris (Mrs. Dan) Headings of Green Forest, Arkansas, Eugene (wife Luella) of Nelson, Missouri, Marvin (wife Lydia) of Smithton, Missouri, Sharon (Mrs. James) Hostetler of Deer Grove, Illinois, Maynard of Tampico, Illinois, Lester (wife Joyce) of Tampico, Illinois, LaVern (wife Gladys) of Tampico, Illinois 70 grandchildren, 229 great grandchildren, 20 great great grandchildren; three sisters Emma Kropf of Tampico, Illinois, Mrs. Wilma Hostetler, (Willie deceased) of Smithton, Missouri, Mrs. Ruth Hostetler (Amos deceased), of Clarksville, Arkansas; two brothers, Daniel Kropf of Otterville, Missouri, Owen Kropf of Buffalo, Missouri; one sister in law Ida Kropf of Muscoda, Wisconsin.

She was preceded in death by her husband , two daughters, her parents, three sisters, four brothers, one granddaughter, six great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted at the Fairfield Amish Mennonite Church, rural Tampico on Wednesday at 9:30 a.m with Norman Hostetler, Clifford Hostetler and Sam Hostetler officiating. Burial will be in the Fairfield A. M. Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the Fairfield Amish Mennonite School, rural Tampico. Arrangements were completed by the Garland Funeral Home in Tampico.
