John Jensen, Former Rock Falls Resident, Passes Away Wednesday

John Jensen, 72, of Springfield, Mo., and a former resident of Rock Falls, died Wednesday noon at his Springfield home.

The body is being brought to the Wheelock funeral home, Rock Falls, where funeral arrangements are being completed.

Mr. Jensen was born in Denmark in 1879, and resided in this commuinity for many years. A painter by trade, he moved to Springfield about 18 years ago.

Surviving are a son, Elbert Jensen of Rock Falls; a daughter, Mrs. Idabelle Teach of Rock Falls; one sister, Mrs. Fred Hagerman of Rock Falls, one brother, Nels Jensen of Joy, Ill., and 5 grandchildren.
