Mrs. May B. Peterson Passes Away on Sunday

Tampico -- Mrs. May B. PETERSON, 74, died Sunday morning at her home in Tampico after a long illness.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. in the Tampico Baptist Church with Rev. Myron Holmgren officiating. Burial will be in the Tampico Memorial Cemetery. Friends may call at the Schmitt Funeral Chapel.

May PETERSON was born in Bureau County on February 11, 1888, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ed BRADY. She was educated in the Burden School and Tampico Hight School. She married Frank PETERSON on May 3, 1906 in New Bedford. She lived in TAmpico all her life except for two years spent in Minnesota.

Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. George (Loretta) TUFT, Sterling; Mrs. Wilbert (Beulah) GANTZ, Prophetstown; Mrs. Paul (Verna) KAISER, Deer Grove; five sons, Harry, Sterling; LeRoy, Fresno, Calif; Edwin, Oak Forest; Cecil, Whitter, Calif; Maynard, Tampico; two sisters Mrs. Bessie REINAGLE, East Gary, Indiana; Mrs. Minnie ESHELMAN, Rock Island; 18 grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Mrs. Nellie DRONENBERG.
