The remains of R. F. STEWART arrived here Tuesday morning, accompanied by his brother, W. P. STEWART, of this city, who was withhim the last few days of his life.

Mr. STEWART has been making his home at Dell Rapids, South Dakota, for the past few years, where he died January 11, 1907. At this place, he made many friends who were very kind to him during his illness.

Richard Fay STEWART was born at Sterling, Ill., on Nov. 12, 1858, and came to Manchester when a boy, with his parents, the late Mr. and Mrs. R. F. STEWART,  and made this his home for many years. He is survived by five children, Claude, Roy, Ruby and Net**e of this city, and Mrs. Eva JOHNSON of Thomas, Ill., also by two sisters, Mrs. W. A. DUREY and Mrs. Tom POPE, and one brother, Mr. W. P. STEWART of this city.

The funeral was held at the Baptist church Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock conducted by Rev. RAMSEY, pastor of the Baptist church, assisted by Rev. CLEMENTS of the U. B. church.

Interment was made in the Manchester cemetery.

Mr. STEWART was a member of the Order of Eagles who cared for him during his illness. They took charge of the remains and held a short service at  Dell Rapids. They showed their high esteem for him by sending much beautiful flowers.
