Charles S. Fee, Retired Prophetstown Farmer, Succumbs on Monday
 
Charles S. Fee, 79, of Prophetstown died at 12:30 p.m on Monday at East Moline.  He had been ill at his home the past four years.  The body reposes at the Garner mortuary in Prophetstown.
 
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Congregational church, of which the deceased was a member, Rev. I. C. Campbell will officiate.  Interment will be in Riverside cemetery at Prophetstown.
 
Mr. Fee, a retired farmer, was born on April 26, 1865, in Ohio state, son of Austin and Elizabeth Magee Fee.  He had lived in and around Prophetstown practically all of his life and was educated in the Prophetstown schools.
 
He married Jennie Francis of Prophetstown, who died on June 19, 1938.  He leaves one brother, John Fee of Rock Falls and one sister, Mrs. Clark Lane of the Leon community, south of Prophetstown.
 
Besides his wife, he was preceded in death by six brothers, Albert, Joseph, Samuel, Thomas, Francis and J. W. Fee, and two sisters, Mrs. Della Cleaveland and Mrs. Sarah Bryson.
