JOHANNA LEAHY PASSED AWAY

Funeral services for Mrs. Johanna LEAHY,  74, will be held Friday morning at 9:30 in St. Mary's Catholic church. Burial will be in St. Mary's cemetery. Mrs. LEAHY passed away in her home on north Main Street Tuesday evening.

TWO FUNERALS AT ST. MARY'S CHURCH - Mrs. Tom Kelly and Johanna B. Leahy Laid at Rest

Services for the late Johanna B.LEAHY were held in St. Mary's catholic church Friday morning at  9:30 with Rev. Fr.  T. O. MCGUIRE officiating. Mrs. LEAHY passed away Tuesday evening at the age of 74. Burial was in St. Mary's cemetery with Walter COONEY, Dan DONAHUE and Jack HARSHMAN of Sterling, Joe HAMBLOCK of Deer Grove and Frank COLLINS and Pat COONEY of Tampico serving as pallbearers.

Mrs. LEAHY was born November 25, 1865, in Hahnaman Township and spent her entire life in this vicinity. Her parents were Thomas COURTNEY and Johanna DONAHUE.

She is survived by three sons, Charles, Phillip and Thomas LEAHY, and two daughters, Mrs. Agnes GARLAND of Tampico and Mrs. Hannah MEEK of Sterling; also nine grandchildren and one great grandchild. Her husand, James LEAHY, preceded her in death.
