PATIENCE (Howlett) FULLERTON EMERY
 
Mrs. Patience Emery, Prophetstown, Dies
 
Prophetstown: - Mrs. Patience A. Emery, 83, passed away early Thursday morning at the Gradert Nursing Home in Geneseo, where she had been a patient for the past two weeks.
 
The body was removed to the Gardner Funeral Home where friends may call.  Funeral rites will be conducted at the Gardner Chapel at 2 p.m. Saturday, with Student Pastor Vergil Anderson officiating.  Burial will be in the Fairfield-Greenville Cemetery.
 
Mrs. Emery was born Sept. 22 1872 in Bureau county, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Howlett.  She moved to Prophetstown in 1909 and had lived here since that time.  She was married to William Fullerton in 1888.  She married Charles Emery on June 2, 1909.
 
Survivors are two sons, Tracy Fullerton, San Gabriel, Calif.;  Charles C. Emery, Prophetstown; one daughter, Mrs. John Thomas, Thomas;  one brother, Frank Howlett, Sterling;  one sister, Mrs. Minnie Rogers, Tampico; three grandchildren, and three great grandchildren.
 
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one son, Jesse, four brothers, and three sisters.
