Alexander Wilson Succumbs At Quincy
 
Morrison: - Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Smith and Mrs. Carl Walters of Morrison and Mr. and Mrs. Charles A. Smith of Rock Falls were in Quincy Tuesday to attend the funeral services for their uncle, Alexander Wilson, 78, former resident of Clyde and Fulton township.  Masonic rites were also conducted.  Burial was in the Green Mound cemetery at Quincy.
 
Mr. Wilson passed away Saturday following a heart attack.  He had been in failing health for several years.
 
He was born March 20, 1874 in Clyde, the son of Thomas A. and Mary Elsey Wilson.  Later he moved with his parents to Fulton.  He had resided for the last 44 years at Quincy.  He was married 40 years ago to Mayme Helms.
 
He is survived by his widow, one sister, Mrs. Nellie Reagan of Hollywood, Calif., mother of the movie star, Ronald Reagan; and several nieces and nephews.
 
He was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters, Emily Rush, Lavina Hunt, and Jennie Pierce and two brothers, John and George Wilson.
