Albert E. Jacobs, 80, Native of Tampico, Succumbs in Peoria
 
Tampico: - Albert E. (Bert) Jacobs, 80 (sic), of Bradenton Fla., formerly of Tampico, died in a nursing home at Peoria Monday at 10:30 a.m.  The remains were brought to the Parent funeral home at Tampico where funeral arrangements are being made.  The funeral may be held Wednesday.
 

Mr. Jacobs was employed for many years by the Commonwealth Edison company of Chicago.  Upon his retirement he returned to his native town of Tampico and resided with his brother, J. M. Jacobs, until 10 years ago when he purchased an acreage at Bradenton, Fla., and made his home there.  Last summer he was with his son Russell at Peoria for a time and then as his health continued to decline he went to reside at the nursing home.  Mr. Jacobs is also survived by two nephews, Leroy and Lester Jacobs of Spring Hill.

Former Resident Of Tampico Passes Away
 
Tampico: - Albert Jacobs, 86, 707 West Forest Hill, Peoria, a former Tampico resident, passed away Monday in the home of his son, Russell Jacobs, in Peoria.  He had been ill for the past two months.
 
The body was brought to the Parent funeral home in Tampico, where funeral rites will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday by the Rev. Joe Walker of the Tampico Methodist church.  Burial will take place in the Tampico Memorial Cemetery.
 
Mr. Jacobs was born November 10, 1865, in Tampico, the son of Joseph and Mary Jacobs.  He was united in marriage with Anna McNamara at Tampico in 1890.  Mr. Jacobs was a member of the Tampico lodge AF and AM, and of the Tampico Methodist church.  He was cashier for the Commonwealth Edison at Peoria until retiring.
 
Mrs. Jacobs passed away in 1908.  Surviving Mr. Jacobs are a son, Russell of Peoria;  one sister, Mrs. Eva Morse of Stevens Point, Wis., and one grandson, James R. Jacobs of Peoria.  Also preceding Mr. Jacobs in death were two brothers, Joseph Marion and Eugene Jacobs.

Services At Tampico For Albert H. Jacobs
 
Tampico: - Funeral services for Albert H. Jacobs, who passed away Monday at the Cooper nursing home in Peoria, were held Wednesday afternoon at the Parent chapel in Tampico with interment in Tampico Memorial cemetery.
 
Mr. Jacobs was born and reared in Tampico.  He was employed with the Commonwealth Edison company in Chicago for a number of years.
 
He is survived by one son Russell of Peoria;  one grandson James;  and a sister Eva Morse of Stevens Point, Wis.
 
He was preceded in death by his wife, the former Anna McNamara;  a daughter Margaret;  a son Roland; and two brothers, Eugene and J. Marion Jacobs.
 

Casket bearers were Roy, Lester and Aesel Jacobs, Harold McNamara, Earl Welch and Glen Blair.
