MARGARET (Combs) ANDERSON
 
Mrs. A. V. Anderson Sr. Dies; Funeral Rites Will Be In Cambridge
 
Walnut: - Mrs. Arthur V. Anderson, Sr., 64, Walnut, died at her home Wednesday after an illness of several months.
 
The body was removed to the Stackhouse Funeral Home in Cambridge, where friends may call. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, the Rev. Ernest Cummings, pastor of the Walnut Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be in the Rosedale Cemetery near Cambridge.  A memorial for the cancer fund has been established by the family.
 
Margaret Combs was born Aug. 1, 1885 in Osco Township, Henry county, the daughter of Henry and Carrie Hartley Combs.  She was married to Arthuir V. Anderson of Walnut on Aug. 20, 1918.  They lived in the Cambridge community for 30 years moving to Walnut to reside in 1955.  She was a member of the Cambridge Methodist Church.
 
Survivors are her husband, one son Arthur V. Anderson, Jr., operator of the Standard Eat Shop in Walnut; three grandchildren;  her father, Henry Combs, Geneseo; two brothers, Roy Combs, Geneseo, Hartley Combs, Sioux Sainte Marie, Mich., and one sister, Mrs. Irene Cox, Geneseo.
 
She was preceded in death by her mother and one sister.
