WALNUT — Henrietta R. Erickson, 84, of 111 Wolf St., Walnut, died Monday, Dec. 24, 2007, at her home.

Born Aug. 7, 1923, in Princeton to Lester and Verna (Bolbock) Meyer, she married Donald L. Erickson Nov. 27, 1941, in the First Lutheran Church in Ohio, Ill. He died Dec. 18, 1987.

She worked at Model Clothing in Walnut for many years.

She was a member of the First Lutheran Church in Ohio, the Ruth Circle and the Neighborly Club.

Surviving are three sons, Keith (Betsy) Erickson, Gary (Deb) Erickson and Ted Erickson, all of Walnut; one brother, Richard (Erin) Meyer of Walnut; three grandchildren, Brett (Kerry) Erickson of Peoria, Shauna (Kenny) Blum of Elmwood and Chris (Ashlee) Erickson of Walnut; four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She also was preceded in death by her parents.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday in the First Lutheran Church, Ohio, Ill., with the Rev. Gene Vincent, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Union Cemetery, Ohio, Ill.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today, Thursday in the Garland Funeral Home, Walnut.

Memorials may be directed to the First Lutheran Church of Ohio or the Walnut Fire Department.
