A 33-year-old Tampico man was killed in a snowmobile accident Saturday night.Scott A. Forward was taken to CGH Medical Center in Sterlingwhere he was pronounced dead upon arrival, according to the Whiteside County Sheriff's Department.Deputies were called to the scene of a snowmobile crash at 11:17p.m. Saturday. The accident happened along Hahnaman Road, just east of the Tampico Village limits. The crash still is under investigation.

The Whiteside County Sheriff's Department was assisted at the  scene by Tampico Fire/EMS, the Tampico Police Department and CGH EMS.

WALNUT — Scott A. Forward, 33, of Tampico, died Sunday, Feb.3, 2008, at CGH Medical Center in Sterling. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 6,. at Garland Funeral Home in Walnut, the Rev. Louis Tosto officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Tampico. Walnut - Scott A. Forward, age 33, 1232 Tampico Road, Tampico, Illinois died Sunday February 3, 2008, at CGH Medical Center in Sterling.

Scott was born on January 14, 1975 in Sterling, Illinois the son of Gregory P. and Nancy(Braggo) Forward. He was united in marriage to Amanda Bruns March 18, 2006 in the First Church of theNazarene in Sterling, Illinois. He graduated from Tampico High School in 1993 and Blackhawk East College. He was a self employed truck driver for Forward Hauling the last two years and had been employed by Rock River Grain. He was a paramedic for CGH Medical Center and was a member of the Tampico Fire Department.  He is survived by his wife Amanda Forward of Tampico, Illinois; one  daughter Ashtynn and one son Easton both of at home; his parents Greg and Nancy Forward of Tampico, Illiniois; one sister Lori (Bill) Althaus of Sublette, Illinois; two brothers Paul (Nicole) Forward of Sheffield, Illinois, Gary (Jody) Forward of  Tampico, Illinois; maternal grandparents Ray and Geraldine Braggo of Tampico, Illinois; paternal grandmother Shirley Forward of Tampico, Illinois; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather George Forward Jr., one aunt Debbie Nye, and one uncle Jeff Forward

Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the Garland Funeral Home in Walnut, with Father Louis Tosto, associate pastor of St. Mary's Church in Tampico, officiating.

Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Tampico, Illinois.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Garland Funeral Home in Walnut.
