L.  MARIE  (Bivens)   FORD
 
Prophetstown: - Mrs. L. Marie Ford, 69, a former Prophetstown resident, died early today at the Pleasant View Nursing home, Morrison.
 
Visitation is scheduled at the Gardner Chapel, Prophetstown, from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday.  Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Gardner Chapel with the Rev. Dalmus Meeks, pastor of the Harvest Time Bible Church, Sterling, officiating.
 
Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery, Prophetstown, and a Memorial has been established to the Harvest Time Bible Church.
 
She was born March 5, 1913 in Galesburg, the daughter of J. W. and Anna Wright Bivens, was educated in the Galesburg schools, and married Gale A. Ford, McComb, on Jan. 21, 1931 in Galesburg. The couple moved to Prophetstown from Galva in 1949.
 
Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Edward (Sally) Powell, Prophetstown;  Mrs. Howard (Pat) Noblin, Sterling; and Mrs. Bill (Nancy) Kay and Mrs. Kent (Carol) Border, both of Erie;  two sons, Larry, Prophetstown, and Eddie Gale, Erie;  two brothers, Russell, Keithburg, Ill., and Wright W., Golden, Colo.;  26 grandchildren and seven great-ograndchildren.
 
She was preceded by her husband, in 1973, her parents, a son in infancy, and a grandson.
