L. D. Etheridge Rites Conducted Thursday
 
Ohio: - L. D. Etheridge, 70, Ohio, lifetime Bureau County resident, passed away unexpectedly at his home Monday.

He was born in Nebraska Sept. 6, 1898, the son of James and Hetty Kepner Etheridge. He was married Feb. 7, 1911, to Elizabeth McCormick.
 
His parents, a son, three brothers and two sisters preceded him in death.
 
Included among his survivors are his wife; three sons, Sylvester, Tampico; Harold, Ohio, and Ronald, East Peoria;  a daughter, Mrs. Paul (Helen) Cooney, Ohio; three brothers, Guy and Cashius, Mendota, and James, Princeton; a sister, Mrs. May Kranov, Ohio; 16 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
 
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. today at the Etheridge family home. Burial was in St. Mary's Cemetery.
