Miss Laferne Renner Honored at Shower



Mrs. Lowell Egert gave a miscellaneous bridal shower in the Church of Christ basement Thursday evening inhonor of Miss LaFerne Renner of Sterling who will become the bride of Richard Egert on June 7th. There were 55 ladies present.



Contests furnished entertainment during the evening after which Miss Renner opened the many lovely gifts that had been placed on a table decorated in her chosen colors, blue and white. Streamers of the two colors were draped from the corners of the table which was covered with white. White wedding bells over the table and a bouquet of tulips as a center piece complete the table decorations.



Refreshments were served at tables beautifully decorated. Large blue hearts entwined with bridal wreath formed the centerpiece of the tables which were covered with white streamers of blue paper were placed down the center of the tables which were lighted with blue candles in crystal holders. Streamers of blue and white shadd the ceiling lights.



Mrs. Lena Glassburn assisted the hostess in the decorating. The lunch was served by Mrs. A.A. Yarde, Sr., Mrs. Harold Carlson, Mrs. Ralph Foy, Mrs. Raymond Foy and Mrs. Warren Anderson.
