SMITH-TAYLOR - At Niles,Michigan,by Rev.A.Eddy, Archie Smith and Miss BelleTaylor,both of this city.

ALLEN - DUDLEY - At the residence of P. Daggett, Lyndon, June 18th, by Rev. Charles Machin, Ethan Allen, of Lyndon to Miss May Dudley of Syracuse, Neb.

FASSETT - GADDIS - At the residence of the bride's parents, La Porte, Ind., June 10, Edwin A. Fassett, of Prophetstown, to Miss Ada Gaddis of La Porte.

 

DIED

SCARRITT - In Prophetstown, June 16, Minerva, wife of James Scarritt,Jr. aged 37 years 6 months and 14 days.

HILL - In Prophetstown, June 17, infant son of Mr.and Mrs. Leroy Hill, aged 1 year and 2 .

DILLON - At the residence, of Wm. Borton, near Fairview, Ohio, June 18th, William Dillon, formerly of this city.

Mr. Dillon had long been an invalid and was sent some months ago to the Soldiers' Home in Ohio, from which state he went into the army. He had recently left the Home and was with his brother-in-law at the time of his death. He died in peaceful hope of a home in the better land; leaving a widow and several children, some of whom are in the  Soldiers' Orphans's Home, at Normal.
