Hello - Can anyone tell us more about this family? Does the farm still exist in Erie? I have transcribed the articles from the Sterling Gazette for her, including the obits. But it would be great if there are descendants still in area or anyone that knew the family. Please contact me @ tampicohistoricalsociety@gmail.com if you would like to contribute OR post on this message board. Thank you!

Dear Historical Society of Tampico,
I am writing to you because we are a family in Denmark that are very interested to know more about our grand-grand mother who left Denmark and moved to America. She left a son here in Denmark, and moved to America and got a new family there, which we are interested to know more about.
Will you be able to tell me, where I can find more information about the family? I have tried to use a ancestor program, but I would like to know if there are any relatives - and how to find them.
The name of our grand-grand mother was "Anine Elisabeth Larsen" and she was born the 17th of april 1882 in Denmark.
She arrived in 1903 with the boat Philadelphia - and lived in Tampico, Whiteside in 1910. (She is called "Annie" in the records from 1910 to 1930)
She married Botvid Jensen in 1904 and they got 4 children:
Elisebeth Jensen 1906
Albert 1909
Harold 1912 (have read an article about a floodwave in 1946 - where I found out that Mr. Harold Jensen lived in Port Byron)
Esther 1914 +1974

In 1920 and 1930 they lived in Erie (as farmers). (Do you know the adress? Does the farm still exist?)

This is how much I know for now. Can you give me some advice, how to get further on - and maybe find some relatives that can tell more about the family.

I would be glad if you could provide me with more information, because it will mean a lot to Anine's grandchild.

Thank you very much - hope to hear from you.

Kind regards,
Margareta Larsen
Bornholm / Denmark
