EVERETT  SANDROCK

 

Walnut: - Everett Sandrock, 84, of Walnut Manor Nursing Home, died Tuesday at Perry Memorial Hospital.

 

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at the First Lutheran Church, Prophetstown. Burial will be in Yorktown Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. at the Garland Funeral Home.  Masonic Services at 7:30 p.m.

 

Mr. Sandrock was born Aug 24, 1908 in Hooppole, the son of Fred and Amanda Olson Sandrock.  He married Opal Brown on Dec. 30, 1939 in Tampico. He operated the Standard Oil Co. bulk plant in Ohio and Plano and was a salesman for Standard Oil Co. He retired in 1962. He was a member of the First Lutheran Church of Prophetstown, the I.O.O.F. Lodge, Plano;  32nd Degree member of Plano Masonic Lodge #4426 A.F. & A.M.

 

He is survived by his wife; a sister, Mrs. Ronald (Evelyn) Gibson, Prophetstown, several nieces and nephews.

 

He was preceded in death by three brothers and a sister.
