ROAD PROJECT "NO GO"

The proposed new highway north from Wesley Foy's will not be laid out. Mr. Foy one of the land owners affecte could not reach a settlement with the commissioners and the case was set Wednesday before Justice Cain who dismissed it. The commissioners offered Mr. Foy $75 for the two acres of land required but he wanted $125 and threatening to carry the case up if beaten. The commissioners therefore threw up the case.
